Most of the work is one of two things. A new site that has to hold up under real traffic, or an existing one that has grown awkward with age and needs someone to take it in hand. I take either from scoping through to launch, then stay on to keep it healthy.
I write the code myself. There is no team to brief and no account layer to pay for, which tends to make work quicker to specify and easier to change once it is live.
